The story
The 1199 Panigale R joins Ducati’s range for 2013. Ducati Corse develops this version with World Superbike competition in mind, during the first generation of the Panigale family.
Its racing history also passes through national championships. Eddi La Marra wins the 2013 CIV Superbike title on the 1199 Panigale R; Leandro Mercado takes the 2014 Superstock 1000 FIM Cup.
On the photographed motorcycle, red bodywork meets the white tank and tail details. The 1199 Panigale R lettering identifies the model; number 29 and The Maniac appear on the screen.
